Rakentamisen lähestyessä asentajamme ottaa yhteyttä ja sopii ajan kodin pihareitin katselmointiin. Katselmoinnissa asiakas ja asentaja suunnittelevat yhdessä kaapelille kulkureitin kiertäen mahdollisuuksien mukaan mummun perintöpelargoniat, pihakiveykset, laatoitukset ja muut esteet.
Huom! Mieti valmiiksi sopiva sijoituspaikka kuitupäätteelle ja raivaa tilaa asennukselle ja seinän läpi porattavaa reikää varten jo ennen asentajan saapumista.
Tyypillisesti asentaja suorittaa samalla käynnillä myös sisäasennukset (kohta 2) ja kaivaa reitin valokuidulle (kohta 3). Toisinaan kuitenkin on järkevämpää touhuta jossain muussa järjestyksessä, joten antakaamme urakoitsijoille vapaat kädet toimia haluamallaan tavalla.
Asentaja ottaa käynnillään allekirjoituksen asiakirjaan, jolla annat luvan asennuksen tekemiseen ja saat dokumentin käynnistä. Saat asentajalta myös ohjeet tulevaisuudessa jo häämöttävää valokuituliittymän käyttöönottoa varten.
Aloitamme asennukset sisätiloista. Asentajamme asentaa talon seinän sisäpuolelle valokuituliittymän päätelaitteen ja tekee seinään noin senttimetrin levyisen reiän. Tuosta reiästä hän vetää valokuitukaapelin ulkoseinään tulevaan pieneen rasiaan.
Pihatyöt tarkoittavat sitä, että kaivamme valokuidulle reitin ulkoseinän rasiasta kadunvarteen. Kaivuutyöt suoritetaan kevyin menetelmin, ja itse kaivanto onkin vain 30 cm syvä ja 10 cm levyinen. Sinne asennetaan noin sentin paksuinen putki kuitukaapelia varten.
Kaivanto luonnollisesti myös peitetään ja tasoitetaan, kun valokuituputki on laskettu maan sisään.
As construction approaches, our installer will contact you and arrange a time to inspect the home's yard route. During the inspection, the customer and the installer together plan a route for the cable, going around grandma's heirloom geraniums, yard stones, tiling and other obstacles if possible.
Note! Think about a suitable location for the fiber termination and clear space for the installation and for the hole to be drilled through the wall even before the installer arrives.
Typically, during the same visit, the installer also performs the interior installations (point 2) and digs the route for the optical fiber (point 3). Sometimes, however, it makes more sense to work in a different order, so let's give the contractors a free hand to act as they wish.
During the visit, the installer will take a signature on the document, with which you give permission to perform the installation and you will receive the document at the start. You will also receive instructions from the installer for the already looming introduction of the fiber optic connection in the future.
We start the installations from the interior. Our installer installs the end device of the fiber optic connection inside the wall of the house and makes a hole about a centimeter wide in the wall. From that hole, he pulls a fiber optic cable to a small box on the outside wall.
Yard work means that we dig a route for the optical fiber from the box on the outer wall to the side of the street. The excavation work is carried out using light methods, and the trench itself is only 30 cm deep and 10 cm wide. A tube about a centimeter thick will be installed there for the fiber cable.
Naturally, the trench is also covered and leveled when the fiber optic pipe is laid in the ground.
